The aim of the course is to introduce students to the task of Network Systems Administration, looking after and maintaining complex computer systems. In particular, the course will be focused on: user administration, services maintainance, and network security.

Services maintainance and implementation:

- proxy server
- dialup services
- wireless systems
- network monitoring
During the practical exercises, students will learn how to use the most famous administration tools and to implements simple services.
The exam is composed by two distinct parts: a written interview and an on-computer test.
Students are expected to be able to use both windows and unix operating systems, and to be able to use scripting languages.
