Finalità
The aim of the course is to make students engineers able to translate in corrected and codified representations the three-dimensional geometric models of construction and architecture, as well as knowing how to understand them from reading technical drawings and maps, through the study and application of different methods for representation of Descriptive Geometry.

Programma
The course is conducted through lessons whose content is composed essentially from the themes of Descriptive Geometry to explane the various projective methods through which you can draw up the designs in order to homogenize the expressive skills of students from different educational pathways.
In detail, lessons are organized on the following topics:
The geometries of the plan - the main graphical construction of the plan.
Orthogonal projection - the representation of basic geometric entities - Terms of belonging, parallelism and orthogonality - Points lines and plans in particular positions - reversal of particular and generic plans - real magnitude of plane figures.
Problems of measurement: distance from a plan, measure angles, Intersection between line and plane, between solid and flat.
Projections Listed: line of maximum slope, straight level - Terms of belonging, orthogonality, parallelism - Applications.
Axonometric projections: orthogonal and oblique Axonometry - Representation of point, line and plane - Terms of belonging, parallelism - Intersection line / solid; line / plane.
Central projections or Perspective: Central Perspective – Accidental Perspective -
Rational perspective.
Applications homologies: Elements: center, axis and corresponding pair of entities - Types of homology: perspectivity - similarities - similarities (dilation) - translation - Applications approved in an orthogonal, parallel and central projection.
There will also be made some lessons concerning the application of different methods applied on the representation of the typical Civil Engineering subjects to different scales of representation. Lessons will be as follows:
The drawing of the architecture: UNI formats - linetype and conventional thicknesses - from project to detail - scale representation and purpose - general plan - plans - elevations - sections - details - methods for dimensioning - legend -- representation of roofs, warping of coverage, vaults, stairs, doors and windows.
The drawing of details and equipment: types of drawing and reduced scale of representation - Foundations - walls - roof and vaults - stairs – doors, windows and glass works - electrical and heating installation and heating – sewers.
The design of territory: scale reduction and methods of representation - IGM - CTR - territory development tools.
The design of city: scale reduction and methods of representation - CTR - Urban development tools - Symbols for interventions in historic centers - UNI 7310/74 - Presentation of building curtain.

Attività d'esercitazione
The exercises will be done with graphical tools (eg A3 size white paper - 42.00 x 29.70 cm -), pencils, teams graduate, compass, curved, rubber, etc..) on the treated topics of Descriptive Geometry.

Modalità d'esame
Written test on the topics of Descriptive Geometry and oral examination on the topics of Descriptive Geometry and final debate of drawings previously agreed with the teacher, as well as issues relating to the Civil Design.
